Hey, sorry that I won’t be posting anything today, but I’m practically dead on my feet. So with an apology, I promise that I will post something better tomorrow. And if possible, I’ll try to make it to be at least two different things. :) Thanks for understanding. :)
Heh, almost forgot to post something today! And I still want to post something every day. Even if it is insignificant. Oh well. Let me say something about the picture. It is probably one of the oldest I have. Must have been thirteen or something when I drew it. Done in crayons. With very limited color range. Only had like twelve different coloers, or something like that.
On the picture is Elyon from Witch. When I was younger, I was really into that. Not any more, but I still have this picture. Because in regards to the skills I had when I drew it, it is pretty good. Today, I would probably be able to do a better job, but at that time, it was fucking brilliant!See ya.
Hey, I’ve got another picture for ya. It’s Atobe from Prince of Tennis, one of my favourite animes. He’s the captain of the Hyoutei tennis team. And nicknamed “Monkey King” The picture itself is one of my favourites. I like how it came out. Especially the eyes and the hair. I admit that the shirt could have been done better, but it is partly my scanner’s fault! I really like the shading in the face though. :)
Hey, I’ve got some more of my pictures. This time it’s some of the old ones again. It’s two pictures of Eyes Rutherford from Spiral, which is one of my favourite animes. This first picture is a side view. I don’t like the shirt, but I do like how the head in general came out. I wonder… Maybe I should draw him again and then compare it with these pictures… Oh well… Maybe I will. This second picture is a front view and I seriously don’t like how the eyes turned out. They are weird. Other than that, I do like it. I just really don’t like the eyes. And the eyebrows. Those are even weirder than the eyes!Okay. That’s it for now. Oh, and if you don’t know Spiral, I suggest you watch it! It’s really great. :)
Hey, just wanted to say something. I’m by no means a professional artist, but I like to think I’m at least a bit above average. And I was just drawing in my sketchbook when I realized that it is good to draw with something permanent. Not a pencil. Unless you’re creating something like a masterpiece, or a pencil-only drawing.
If it is anything else, or if you’re just practising in your sketchbook, the permanent whatever is better. Why? Because, it forces you to finishe your drawing regardles of how awefull it looks. And that is the thing. Finish your drawing even if it looks horrible. It may still turn out okay. But you’ll never know, unless you finish it.
Today, in one of my university classes, I was sitting next to this guy. He had a laptop and he was very distracting. And I don’t mean him personaly. It’s more what he was doing on that laptop. Don’t wory, it wasn’t porn or anything… He was just playing video games. That would have been fine, if! If that moron wasn’t playing some of my favourite games… One was Mount&Blade. The second was the new Devil May Cry game – DMC Devil May Cry.
And like I said. It was very distracting! I kept glancing at his screen and I was imagining the way I would play it. And what I would do different… And I kept comparing his version of Mount&Blade with mine. It was different. And I’m not sure which I like better… And his was in english. I have mine in czech. Maybe one day, I get myself the expansions, because I’m sure that is what he had.
As for the DMC, let’s say… I think I can do better than him. He was slow. Some of the moves, I don’t know. Either he was playing it for the first time, or he’s like really lame! By no means do I consider myself an expert, but I’m pretty good at it. Not the best, far from that, but I’d like to think I’m at least a little bit above average.
This picture is just a mere sketch done in light blue pen, but I kinda like it. It was drawn without knowing what it is, but when I realized, I decided not to scratch it, and kept it. And now I’m posting it here.
It has been a while since I watched the anime, but I have to say I enjoyed it. Like, I’m not really into historical anime, but this one was good. So… I watched.
Also, I hope you like the picture at least a little bit. And it would be nice if you left a coment. :)
Hey, today I went to the library and borrowed some books. Two to be exact. One of them is the fifth book in the Legend of Drizzt series. This is something I’m very happy about as I had to wait very long for the previous book. Way too long! The second is one of the Cherub series. I’m not sure about the book number, but I’m looking forward to reading it.
It will have to wait, as right now I’m reading The Venecian Betrayal. And that would be one of the books from Steve Berry’s saga with Cottone Malone. As of now, I cannot judge this book. I’m only at the tenth or so chapter. But I’ll get to it when I finish it.
Hey, just today I finished the fourth book in the Legend of Drizzt series. I’m not sure if it has any other general name… Well, the book was very good. Starting with an attack of the barbarian clans and Arak Kessel finding the Crenshinibon. Then with Akar preparing an army and Drizzt and Wulfgar the barbarian going to slay a horde of verbegs. The final part is the best though. It is another battle of the ten cities (what’s the name in english?) and this time the barbarians and the inhabitans of the cities are fighting together. And are joined by the dwarves as well.
The hardest battle falls on Drizzt though. His Guen being the only one who can find the door to Crystal-Thirid (Wanted to write Minas Thirid…).
I suck at this… I just can’t find the right words to describe it in english… I did it in czech… (Missing the last part) But hey, at least I won’t spoil it for you that much… Because, all in all, the book is great. I do suggest you read the previous books first though. It does kinda connect… And you would be a bit lost if you didn’t.
Should have probably picked a cover that is in english, right? Well guess what? I’m not changing it.
Hey, I just got an idea. Do you want me to post videos of me flipping through my sketchbook? It’s already uploaded on youtube. I’d just have to post it here. So if you’re interested, please let me know, and I’ll see what I can do. I just don’t wanna post it here if noone would look at it. That would be a collossal waste of time. Don’t you think?
